Monday Night

Last night we covered the Doctrine of God. When it comes to God and when we attempt to grasp His vastness He easily becomes an abstraction. What I found to be so helpful last night was the connection made that we can know objective truth's about GOd, through scripture, and interpret our life experiances(which are not abstract) through objective truth. We covered how the world defines God, how Christians define God, and ultimately what does that mean for us all. Listen In!!! NExt week we will cover the Holy Spirit.

Questions

Each week we have had a great turnout. We are so pleased and encouraged to experiance a shared enthusiasm for the Gospel. The questions have been a highlight of this process. I hope you are able to listen in. The questions are genuine and thoughtful. Please post any questions you may have. We would love to answer them on the blog. Last week I think one asked a rather profound question " In light of the Gospel then why must we experiance death?" Amazing question. If you want to hear the answer just check us out on I Tunes.

Doctrine of God

Every tribe and nation seems to have a theology on God. We attempt to wrap our minds around our creator to give meaning and purpose to our life experiance. Tune in Monday and hear what the Rev. Jake and church tradition has to say about God. What form does God take, how are we connected, what does this God want from us, and what do we need from Him. Join us and bring your questions.
